Each holiday is organised by a team of two holiday organisers. They are supported not only by the holiday’s own volunteer helpers and nurses but also by our Trustees and our executive committee.
All our organisers are volunteers who have prior experience of helping on our holidays. They are extremely enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who give up a huge amount of time during the year to provide the best possible holiday – one that is safe, happy and filled with fun.
Holiday organising involves a wide variety of tasks, including deciding which children can be taken, liaising with parents, social workers and teachers, selecting and training a team of volunteers, preparing the venue, and planning and running the week’s activities.
A great deal of trouble is taken in providing the best possible care for each individual child. Our organisers are perfectionists who strive to focus on every little detail!
The Holiday Organisers went above and beyond to make sure they had as much information as possible.
I hope that many others in the future are able to access a holiday that would otherwise be impossible.
