South holiday

In 2024, our South holiday moved and is now based at Barton Camp, set in the beautiful Mendip Hills in Somerset.
The venue has some accessible facilities, including some accessible bedrooms and ramps to/from the main activity rooms and canteen. At the heart of the camp is the heated outdoor swimming pool, which includes a slide and changing area. The site also boasts large, spacious dormitories, a play park, sports hall, activity rooms, canteen, roundhouse and large open green spaces.
Throughout the week, we experience a range of on-site and off-site activities. Our on-site activities may include:
- Arts and Crafts
- Discos
- Talent Show
- Swimming
- Campfires
- Visitors such as magicians, circus performers and falconers
- Themed activities
We generally go off-site around three times during the week. This means we get to experience a few coach rides which leads to lots of singing and lots of fun! Our off-site activities may include:
- Theme parks
- Outdoor activity centres
- Wildlife parks and farms
- Beach trips
- Soft play
The catchment area for Barton Camp is usually areas including Somerset, North Somerset, Bristol and Wiltshire, although surrounding counties may also be considered.
