Midlands holiday
The Midlands holiday is usually hosted at Yarlet School, in a beautiful building and grounds in Staffordshire.
We normally take children from Birmingham, Staffordshire and the Newark area in Nottinghamshire.
Accessibility is limited, so we regret that the holiday is currently unable to take children who cannot walk upstairs to safely access the accommodation level.
We run an action-packed 6-night holiday with a fun full filled list of both onsite and offsite activities, which typically includes:
· Treasure hunt
· It’s A Knockout, (including water play)
· 2 trips to Alton Towers or a similar theme park
· Puppet show
· Cinema trip and pub meal visit
· Dedicated arts and crafts room
· A range of indoor and outdoor games and sports
· Hand chime workshops and music sessions
· Children's playgrounds, woodland and ground walks
· Yoga and relaxation
· Beauty salon including nails and makeup
· Fancy dress disco
· 2 Swimming sessions (on-site heated outside pool)
· Talent show
· Fireworks
· Therapy dogs (optional)
· Visit from emergency services, such as police, fire brigade and army
We recognise that all children are individuals and whilst we promote and encourage group activities we offer flexibility and a range of alternative activities to ensure that we can cater for each child’s individual preferences and needs.
