Our Scotland holiday for 2026 will be hosted by Strathallen School in the wonderful county of Perthshire. 
 

We generally spend around two days of the holiday offsite, visiting attractions by coach. Day trips can include Blair Drummond Safari Park, Dundee Science Centre and Loch Ore Meadows.
On our onsite days we have lots of fun activities and visitors to keep us busy. Recent on-site activities have included:
- Swimming (we have an on-site pool so go swimming three times during the week)
- Therapy dogs
- Mini-zoo
- Music therapists
- Magicians
- Discos
- Singing
- Birds of Prey
- Arts and crafts
- Cold cooking
- Outdoor activities
- Sports sessions
- Campfire
- Talent show
- Firefighter visit
- Messy games
- Cinema

In some years, our Scotland holiday has been hosted at Glenalmond College.

Make a donation

The Newman Holiday Trust is an entirely voluntary organisation. The Trust has no paid staff and therefore all money donated goes directly towards providing holidays for children with disabilities and special needs.
